Use PayPal's Mobile App to Send and Receive Funds

Sending Money through PayPal's desktop site

First, launch your web browser, go to https://www.paypal.com, and log in.

Second, select "Send & Request" from the sidebar once logged in.

Third, provide the recipient's contact information in the appropriate field, such as an email address, username, or phone number.

Fourth, a drop-down menu will ask if the transfer is for a personal or professional relationship. Don't forget to take advantage of our no-cost "Send to a friend" feature.

Fifth, re-enter the sum you wish to send into the input field. Leave a note at the bottom of the check to explain if the Money is a gift or whether it is being sent to pay for a specific item. When you're done, click the "Continue" button.

In number six, PayPal will automatically select your preferred method of payment. If your preferred mode of income won't work for this purchase, select "Change Payment Mode."

After verifying the recipient's information, the payment amount, and the payment method, click "Send Payment Now." If you use PayPal to send Money, the recipient will get an email verifying the transaction, and the funds will be available in their account immediately.
